Rasim Aslan was born in 1983 in Van, Turkey. He studied Turkish language and literature at Yakın Doğu University (2004-2008), and at Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, photography department (2010-2014). As a photographer, his interest focuses mainly on violations of rights, war and nature. He currently lives and works in Istanbul.
